Terms of Service
Last updated: November 3, 2026
These are the terms for every plan and project with Website Work 4 Less. If anything here is unclear, call or text us at (848) 368-8867 or contact us before you buy.
1. Agreement and Services
1.1 These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between Website Work 4 Less LLC, 750 Forest Ave, Lakewood, NJ ("Website Work 4 Less", "we", "us") and the business that buys our services ("Client", "you"). By paying for a plan, signing an order, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1.2 We provide search engine optimization (SEO), website, Google Business Profile and related marketing services. The work included in each plan (Local, Regional, Dominate, or a custom plan) is described on the plan sheet or order you received at the time of purchase (the "Plan").
1.3 Launch sprint. During the first three months of a Plan, we produce extra content as described in the Plan. The launch sprint describes the amount of work we do. It is not a promise of any particular result.
1.4 Ad budgets and third-party costs (for example, Google Ads spend or call-tracking phone numbers) are not included unless the Plan says so, and are paid by the Client.
1.5 Changes. Plan changes, upgrades or custom work must be agreed in writing (email is enough).
2. Billing and Payment
2.1 Prices are the amounts shown on the Plan or payment link at the time of purchase. Our services are not subject to sales tax, so no tax is added.
2.2 Monthly plans are billed in advance each month, starting on the purchase date, until cancelled under Section 3. 6-month and yearly plans are billed once, in full, in advance for the whole term.
2.3 Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying, you authorize us to charge your card or bank account for each billing period of your Plan.
2.4 Late or failed payments. If a payment fails, we will let you know and retry. If an amount is more than 15 days past due, we may pause work and suspend territory exclusivity (Section 4) after written notice, until the account is current.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
3.1 Monthly plans. You may cancel a monthly plan at any time with 30 days' written notice (email to info@websitework4less.com is enough). Your Plan, and any billing that falls within those 30 days, continues until the notice period ends. Billing then stops.
3.2 6-month and yearly plans. These plans are prepaid for the full term and are non-refundable, including if you stop using the services early. They do not renew on their own. When the term ends, the Plan ends and work stops, unless you pay for a new term or switch to a monthly plan.
3.3 We may end the agreement with 30 days' written notice, or right away if the Client breaks these Terms (for example, non-payment past 30 days, or asking us to do something unlawful). If we end a prepaid Plan early without cause, we will refund the unused months.
3.4 After cancellation, we stop all work, remove our access to your accounts when you ask, and hand over any files or logins that belong to you under Section 5.
4. Territory Exclusivity (Regional and Dominate Plans Only)
4.1 Local plans are not exclusive. We may work with other businesses in the same trade and area.
4.2 For Regional and Dominate plans, while the Plan is active and the account is in good standing, we will not provide SEO, local search or paid search services to another business whose primary trade is the same as the Client's within the territory listed on the Plan (the "Territory").
4.3 A "competitor" is a business that offers the same primary trade and is based in, or actively markets to, the Territory. Businesses in related but different trades are not competitors.
4.4 When exclusivity ends. Exclusivity lasts through the Client's last paid day: the end of the 30-day notice period for a monthly plan, or the end of the prepaid term for a 6-month or yearly plan. We will not take on a competitor in the Territory before that day. From the day after, the Territory is open and no exclusivity or non-compete applies.
4.5 Exclusivity may be suspended under Section 2.4 while an account is more than 15 days past due.
4.6 Exclusivity does not cover businesses that were already our clients on the date the Plan started (we will list them on the Plan if any), or services unrelated to search marketing, such as a one-time website build.
5. Ownership
5.1 Websites we build. Once the website has been paid for in full, the Client owns it: the design, pages, text and images we created for it. Until then, we keep ownership and may take it offline if payment is not made.
5.2 Your accounts and materials. Your domain name, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, Search Console and social accounts stay yours at all times. So do the logos, photos and content you give us. You give us permission to use them to do the work.
5.3 SEO content. Blog posts, service and town pages we write and publish on your site under a Plan belong to the Client once the month they were produced in has been paid.
5.4 Our tools. Our internal tools, templates, processes and reporting systems stay ours.
5.5 Portfolio. We may mention you as a client and show the work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
6. AI, Results, Liability and Other Terms
6.1 Use of AI. We use AI tools, including Claude by Anthropic, to do much of the day-to-day work (for example, writing drafts, fixing site issues and preparing reports). Our team oversees the work, and new pages are sent for your approval before they go live.
6.2 No guaranteed results. Search rankings, map placement, traffic and leads depend on Google and other factors outside our control. We do not guarantee any specific ranking, position, number of calls or revenue.
6.3 Your part. You agree to give us the access we need (for example, website, Google Business Profile and Search Console access), answer questions in reasonable time, approve or reject content, and make sure the information you give us is accurate and that you have the right to use the materials you send.
6.4 Confidentiality and data. We keep your account logins and business information confidential and use them only to do the work. Each client's information is kept separate from other clients'.
6.5 Limit of liability. To the extent the law allows, our total liability under these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and neither side is liable for indirect or lost-profit damages.
6.6 Governing law. These Terms are governed by New Jersey law. Any dispute will be handled in the state courts of Ocean County, New Jersey.
6.7 Changes to these Terms. We may update these Terms. Changes apply to new billing periods after we post them and give 30 days' notice by email.
